About the role

  • As business analyst/strategy manager, you act as sparring partner and sounding board to Biolectric’s management and shareholders in shaping the long-term strategic agenda of the company.
    • Together with two direct reports (marketeer (30%) and strategic analyst (70%)), you assist country leads in developing their local market approach by:
      • Analyzing local market trends and competitors
      • Identifying threats and opportunities
      • Shaping local strategic marketing approach
      • Refining pricing strategy
  • You play a central role in sales enablement and growth marketing for the team including:
    • Sales enablement: development of supporting sales tools, sales documents, refinement of contracts and delivery scope
    • Growth marketing: lead generation and brand awareness
  • You support management and country leads in their interaction with external stake holders including government bodies, agricultural bodies and trade organizations.
  • You pro-actively identify and analyze new opportunities to create value for the broader group, e.g. in terms of product portfolio and geographical focus.
  • You will be based in Biolectric’s HQ in Temse, in between Ghent and Antwerp.


About you:

  • 3 - 5 years (business analyst) or 3 - 7 years (strategy manager) of experience in business administration, management consulting or strategic management within a fast-growing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual abilities, including profound Excel skills. 
  • Excellent understanding of business operations and procedures.
  • You share our ‘get shit done’ – mentality: you get energized by conceptualizing and analyzing problems and present pragmatic solutions.
  • You have professional proficiency in English. Proficiency in additional languages (Dutch, French, Italian, German, etc.) are considered a plus.
  • You have affinity with leading and developing ambitious professionals.
  • Affinity with the agriculture sector is considered a plus.
