European Biomethane Trading Conference
We are pleased to announce that ERGaR will host the first-ever European Biomethane Trading Conference on 21 April 2026 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
This new annual conference will serve as Europe’s meeting point for the biomethane trading community, bringing together registries, traders and market actors to advance the dialogue on renewable gas trade and certification, including cross-border cooperation.
A Platform for Europe’s Biomethane Market
Our goal is to create a space where stakeholders from across the biomethane value chain can connect, share insights, and discuss key developments shaping the sector.

- The Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol and its role in biomethane tracking and reporting
- The potential of Bio-LNG in the maritime sector
